Home Sweet Home

Character
Home Sweet Home opens with a mix of black currant, mandarin orange, white tea, matcha tea, and chocolate. The fruit provides a bright, slightly tart edge that sits next to the gentle bitterness of the tea leaves. Chocolate adds a soft, edible sweetness that does not dominate the start. This combination feels layered rather than loud, with the citrus keeping the darker elements in check while the tea notes introduce a calm, leafy character.
The heart moves into patchouli and tobacco. Patchouli brings an earthy depth that grounds the earlier fruit, while tobacco adds a dry, warm presence. Together they create a bridge between the fresh top and the heavy base. The transition feels steady, with the green and fruity opening slowly giving way to something more resinous and textured.
The base is extensive, containing frankincense, sandalwood, ambergris, cedar, oud, benzoin, saffron, and musk. Frankincense and benzoin provide a resinous, balsamic quality, while sandalwood, cedar, and oud build a dense woody foundation. Saffron adds a warm, slightly metallic spice, and musk smooths the edges. The overall impression is a rich, powdery amber profile that feels sweet, spicy, and deeply resinous.
