Black currant opens with a tart bite that feels like walking past a market stall where the fruit has been split on the pavement. Jasmine and incense sit beside it, the white flower soft and the smoke dry, so the first impression is not a sweet fruit bowl but something darker and more composed.
Cyclamen and Bulgarian rose carry the middle with a cool, slightly powdery petal feel. Patchouli and labdanum ground that floral lift, adding a resinous weight that keeps the petals from floating away. The heart sits close to the skin in character, rich and slightly shadowed rather than bright.
Narcissus and moss bring a damp, earthy edge that pulls the whole composition toward the forest floor. Amber warms the base so the green and the flower do not turn cold. It smells like standing under wet trees while wearing a heavy coat, the air smelling of soil and crushed leaves.
