Our take

Insieme opens with a giddy, slightly abrasive burst of strawberry and raspberry, like a fruit salad left too long in the sun before a sharp twist of ginger and mandarin cuts through the jam. The heart is where things get interesting, and where they start to wobble. Sea notes and jasmine collide, a briny, floral tidal pool sloshing against the sweetness, but the effect is more confused than clever. It dries down to a familiar amber vanilla musk, smooth and creamy, dragging the whole thing back to safe ground.

The overall character is a beach towel spread over a picnic blanket wet with spilled soda. It feels synthetic in the opening, then settles into a tame, almost mainstream gourmand, despite the niche intentions. The longevity is a disappointment; three hours and you are reapplying. Sillage is polite at best, a whisper rather than a wave. This is for someone who wants a light, fruity marine scent for a warm Saturday afternoon, perhaps a stroll by the marina or a brunch on a terrace. Skip it if you crave presence, depth, or any kind of edge. It wears best in spring and summer, strictly in daylight, and it vanishes too quickly to make a real impression. A pleasant, forgettable daydream.
