Siraj
Fragrance notes
Character
Siraj opens with cypriol, valerian, oud and gurjan balsam. The cypriol brings a dry, earthy wood tone that leads the first impression. Valerian adds a root-like, slightly bitter edge that keeps the opening from feeling polished. Oud arrives with a resinous, animalic weight that feels dense rather than sharp. Gurjan balsam rounds the top with a mild, warm resin that softens the sharper facets.
The heart settles into sandalwood and cedar. Sandalwood contributes a smooth, creamy wood that calms the rougher opening. Cedar adds a drier, pencil-shaving crispness that keeps the mid section from becoming too soft. Together they create a steady wood core that feels grounded and traditional.
The base carries musk and ambergris. Musk lends a clean, skin-close softness that blurs the heavier woods. Ambergris brings a salty, amber-like warmth that deepens the foundation without turning sweet. The overall accord stays woody, powdery, amber, musky, oud, soft spicy and animalic.
