Today Tomorrow Always Celebrate opens with a honeysuckle that is recognizably sweet and sun-warmed, its honeyed nectar just slightly sharpened by neroli’s green citrus edge. The heart is all tuberose, but this is no operatic diva, it’s a polite, creamy bloom that never shoves. Cedar and ambrette seed in the base give a soft, almost papery woodiness and a faint musky warmth that keeps things from tipping into candy floss territory. The result is a white floral that feels like a linen sundress, freshly ironed, catching a breeze in a suburban backyard.
This is a straightforward, well behaved floral, not niche or challenging, but not cheap either. It wears close to the skin, longevity clocks in just above average at 3.27, and sillage is modest at 3.11, which means you won’t clear a room, but you’ll smell lovely for a few hours. It feels synthetic in the way a floral body mist does, clean, pleasant, but lacking the deep resinous thrum of a more expensive tuberose soliflore.
