Our take

You spritz it and immediately there is a bright, almost peppery snap of coriander and green accord, with bergamot adding a citrusy sparkle. It fizzes like a fresh herb bunch hit with morning dew, then settles into a clean lavender and sage heart softened by a whisper of neroli. The dry down brings white suede and cashmere wood, lightly sweetened with labdanum, turning the whole thing into a gentle, velvety warmth that clings to the skin like a memory of a crisp linen shirt drying on a spring afternoon.

This is an aromatic fougere through and through, leaning herbal and soft spicy without any heavy amber or leather punch. It feels natural enough in its composition, courtesy of Olivier Cresp, but undeniably mainstream, like a solid department store pick. The problem is it barely lasts, longevity hovering around 2.8, and sillage is soft enough to disappear in a moderate breeze, 2.36. You will need to reapply, and you will only want to wear it in daylight, the votes say spring or fall is ideal, and night wear is practically out of the question.

Who should wear it? The guy who wants a polite, inoffensive scent for the office, brunch, or a first date that starts before sundown. Skip it if you crave projection, longevity, or anything with an edge. This fragrance does not roar, it offers a quiet nod. A decent three point seven, but you will be respraying by lunch.
