Our take

Lavender hits first, sharp and clean like a barbershop tonic poured over sun-warmed skin. This opening is brisk and aromatic, a fresh spicy snap that feels more cologne than perfume, before vetiver rises with its bitter green rootiness and the musk begins its slow, powdery bloom. The dry down softens into a woody, earthy haze, lavender still clinging faintly, like the ghost of a shirt you wore three days ago. This is a fragrance that behaves like a well-worn flannel jacket thrown over a chair, comfortable and familiar, but not quite warm enough to reach for in a deep freeze.

It skews natural enough in its lavender-musk core, though there is a slight synthetic sheen that keeps it firmly in the mainstream, somewhere between a locker room and a boutique. The longevity is modest, barely three or four hours on skin, and sillage stays close enough that only a hug will catch it. That makes it a daytime scent for crisp autumn afternoons or brisk winter mornings, perfect for a coffee run or a casual walk in the park, but it will vanish fast under a coat or in a nightclub crowd. It suits the guy who wants to smell put together without screaming for attention, but skip it if you crave projection or a statement piece, this is a whisper, not a shout.
