Soft
Fragrance notes
Character
Soft opens with clary sage, bergamot, and mandarin orange. The sage carries a slightly herbal edge that keeps the citrus from feeling bright or sunny. Mandarin adds a rounded, gentle sweetness while bergamot contributes a clean, faintly bitter lift. The start feels calm and approachable rather than sharp or energizing.
The heart introduces tea, mate, rose, and jasmine. Tea and mate bring a dry, lightly steeped character that sits close to the skin. Rose appears soft and powdery rather than fresh or dewy, and jasmine adds a mild floral warmth. Together they create a quiet, slightly dusty floral center that avoids heavy sweetness.
The base is the most substantial part of the composition. Tolu balsam and sandalwood provide a smooth, resinous foundation. Leather and tobacco add depth and a faintly rugged texture, while oud contributes a dark, animalic warmth. The blend feels amber-heavy, balsamic, and gently spicy as the drydown settles.
Powdery rose lingers near the resinous woods, and the tobacco accord remains noticeable throughout. The overall impression is warm, sweet, and slightly animalic, with leather and balsam carrying the closing moments.
