Straight to Heaven Extreme
Fragrance notes
Character
Straight to Heaven Extreme opens with a slug of dark rum that’s less about party tricks and more about sinking into a leather club chair after the last guest has left. The dried fruits and nutmeg arrive quickly, sweet but never syrupy, while a ghost of jasmine floats through the oak and patchouli like a half-remembered melody. As it settles, the vanilla and amber pull the whole thing into a powdery, almost velvety warmth, with the cedar keeping it upright so it never collapses into pure dessert.
The overall character is a midnight study: mahogany shelves, a half-empty bottle of something expensive, and the faint scent of cigar ash in the curtains. It feels rich without being cloying, more niche than mainstream thanks to that boozy-woody tension, though the sillage is polite and longevity sits at a respectable three to four hours before it becomes a skin scent. The Extreme flanker is definitely the moodier sibling, but it could stand to throw a little louder for the price.
This one suits the man who dresses for himself on a Tuesday night, not for the office or a date. Skip it if you want crisp or fresh, because this fragrance stays close, warm, and deeply introspective. It belongs on a cold November evening, when the first frost is on the windshield and you have nowhere to be until morning.
