Between that opening and the boozy heart, Apple Brandy on the Rocks moves fast from fresh to warm. Apple, rum and brandy give the middle a genuinely spirit-like quality, sweet and a little sharp, with pineapple adding a tropical note and moss keeping a green thread running through the sweetness. Vanilla softens the alcohol edge, and cedar and ambroxan close things out dry and clean, more liquor cabinet than orchard.
Staying power is moderate, holding its warmth for a fair stretch before settling into something quieter and woodier. Sillage stays modest, a small, boozy halo that mostly rewards whoever gets close enough to notice it. Cold, low-lit evenings are where this fits best, the kind of chill that makes a spiced, rum-like warmth actually make sense, tilting it toward night wear over daylight. The literal, food-like accords here won't suit every palate, since the rum and brandy read as exactly that, spirits more than abstraction.
