Our take

You spritz and there is that first green snap, violet leaf and pepper cutting through the air like a blade of wet grass. It is sharp but not aggressive, a fresh spicy sting that quickly softens into something ozonic and aquatic, like the cool mist off a spring creek. The heart turns woody and warm, sandalwood rising with a milky, almost powdery texture, while oakmoss anchors everything in damp earth. The dry down is a gentle fade into a mossy, slightly peppery skin scent, a whisper of green tea and old wood.

This is not a fragrance that announces itself from across the room. With a sillage rating just above two and longevity barely touching three hours, Sandara behaves like a shy creature, a wood violet peeking out from under a fern after a rain shower. It feels natural, almost pastoral, more like an indie botanical than a commercial release. It suits those who prefer to scent their own space, not the whole office. Spring mornings are its natural habitat, though it can breathe through a mild autumn day. If you need presence and power, look elsewhere. But for a quiet, poetic moment of damp green woods and soft spice, this little bottle delivers a fleeting, lovely glimpse of the forest floor.
