Missing Person opens on musk and bergamot together, an odd but effective pairing, animalic and citrusy at once, with jasmine adding a green, slightly indolic lift right behind it. Neroli and orange blossom move in through the heart, keeping the white florals bright rather than heavy, and cyclamen adds a cool, slightly green edge to the citrus-floral blend, more dewy leaf than actual flower.
White musk, Australian sandalwood and white wood form a soft, powdery base that smells like clean, warm skin, understated throughout the wear and never once reaching for anything showy. Constance Georges-Picot put this together in 2022, and the whole formula reads like an exercise in restraint, built from familiar musk and citrus material handled with unusual care. Staying power keeps an average pace, and sillage sits right on the skin, a private scent felt mostly by the person wearing it.
Missing Person works through every season without much variation, present from spring humidity through winter dryness alike, never demanding a particular mood or occasion.
