Ylang-ylang opens Psychedelic Love with a rich, slightly narcotic sweetness, bergamot cutting through just enough to keep the first few minutes from feeling heavy. Heliotrope and Bulgarian rose move in next, backed by hedione's soft, almost watery lift. It holds firm on skin, showing no rush to thin out, and it leaves a trail, the kind people notice before you've said a word to them. Myrrh and sandalwood settle into the base, turning the drydown balsamic and warm.
Almond and vanilla add a soft, sweet undercurrent that stays short of cloying, and amber keeps the warmth going well after the ylang-ylang fades. Powdery texture runs through the whole wear, softening what could otherwise read as a fairly heavy oriental.
