Sergey Gubanov & Mitya Fomin Sooka opens with a sharp mix of lime, lemon, and mandarin orange that cuts through a heavy layer of cinnamon. Plum adds a round, dark fruitiness that keeps the citrus from feeling thin. The start is bright and hot at the same time, with the spice leading the way and the fruit smoothing the edges.
The middle introduces dried fruits alongside rosemary, mint, and basil. Cedar and fir bring a dry, green wood that pushes the composition away from pure sweetness. The aromatic herbs give it a clean, slightly medicinal edge while the dried fruit deepens the warm spicy character already present. Patchouli, oakmoss, tobacco, and vetiver form a base that is earthy and bitter. The tobacco is dry rather than sugary, and the vetiver adds a rough grassiness that sits under the heavier woods.
The blend feels busy, with many elements competing for attention at once. Citrus, dried fruit, resinous spice, conifer, and bitter earth all occupy the same space. Some wearers will enjoy the density, but others may find the combination cluttered and hard to parse. The synthetic edge on the fruit and the heavy dose of cinnamon can feel abrasive rather than smooth.
