Our take

Under The Lemon Tree earns its name honestly. Lime and petitgrain open sharp and green, all torn stem and bitter citrus oil, closer to crushing a leaf between your fingers than spraying a bottle. Cardamom threads through underneath, dry and faintly peppery, giving the citrus a spiced edge instead of straightforward lemonade sweetness.

Green tea and mate settle the heart into something closer to a garden hedge than a finished bouquet, with coriander adding a faint, dusty spice alongside them. White musk, cedar and rock rose come in at the base, keeping the whole composition dry and mineral, more washed linen than perfume.

It is built for warm weather, spring sliding into summer, and worn during the day when its green citrus feels sharpest. Sillage keeps almost entirely to the skin, the kind of scent only someone standing close would catch, and longevity fades at a moderate pace, present for a while before it thins out completely. The restraint is deliberate: smelling clean and outdoorsy without needing to announce itself is the whole idea, a composition built on quiet confidence.
