Maurice Roucel knows his florals, but here he piles on so many that the iris and rose struggle for air, resulting in a powdery, lactonic fog that smothers nuance.
The drydown settles into a cashmeran and musk base with a soft amber glow, but the cedar barely registers. This is a sweet, creamy floral that leans more mainstream than niche, the kind of scent that feels like spilling peach yogurt on a linen tablecloth.
