Wild Incense by Roberto Cavalli answers with a pour of cognac and soft dates, the fruit sticky and dark, the alcohol note rich without turning syrupy. Frankincense lifts the opening just enough to keep the sweetness grounded, and the heart brings black leather and guaiac wood into the mix. The rose here is dry, more a shadow than a bloom, and it lets the leather do the talking. Vetiver and benzoin hold the base together, giving the blend a resinous weight that feels expensive and a little rugged at the same time.
The tonka bean adds a gentle vanilla comfort, but the leather and resin keep the mood serious rather than playful.
