Bat-Sheba Woody Modern
Fragrance notes
Character
Cardamom and galbanum lead the opening with a sharp, green bite. Aldehydes add a bright, slightly metallic shimmer that lifts the bergamot and hyacinth. Palisander rosewood gives the first minutes a dry, polished wood feel. The top is angular rather than soft.
Cactus and honey sit together in the heart, a strange pair that makes the florals feel both fresh and thick. Jasmine and rose carry the familiar side, while orris and ylang-ylang smooth the edges. Carnation brings a clove-like heat, and cacao pod adds a dusty, bitter cocoa tone that keeps the sweetness from becoming simple.
Vetiver and sandalwood anchor the base with a creamy, earthy wood. Resins and amber add warmth, while patchouli and oakmoss lean into the damp forest floor. Castoreum and leather give a faint animalic roughness that feels vintage. Vanilla rounds the edges without taking over. Picture a sunlit clearing where polished wood meets dry earth and a warm breeze carries crushed leaves and old leather.
