Our take

Judith is for the woman who steps out when the streetlights are already reflecting on wet pavement. She carries a bag that holds more than she needs and wears a coat that smells of the evening air. This is a scent that belongs to a dinner where the table is lit by candles and the conversation stretches long. It fits a room where the curtains are drawn and the outside world is a different temperature.

Aldehydes lift the opening with a bright, slightly soapy sparkle that sits over the tart peel of lemon and orange. Hyacinth adds a cool green edge to the citrus, keeping the start from feeling heavy. The fruit here is crisp rather than sweet, more rind than juice.

The heart is a dense bouquet of carnation and rose, supported by jasmine and ylang-ylang. Orris brings a soft, powdery texture that settles over the petals like fine dust. Cyclamen and orchid add a watery, slightly metallic freshness that cuts through the weight of the flowers.

Cedar and sandalwood form a dry, woody foundation beneath the resinous warmth of amber and benzoin. Cinnamon and caramel add a gourmand touch that feels like a slice of tart placed on a wooden table in a room filled with smoke and polished wood.
