La Fede Opera Noir L'Or
Fragrance notes
Character
The opening blackcurrant syrup is thick and very sweet. It leans heavily into candy territory right away, which will feel like too much for anyone who prefers dry or subtle fruit. That initial sugar rush is the clear weak point here.
Rose and jasmine sambac sit at the center. Narcissus and cyclamen add a cool, slightly watery edge to the petals. The flowers feel polished and smooth rather than fresh from the garden.
Caramel and benzoin coat the base. Oud and patchouli give the sweets a dark, resinous floor. Incense curls through the warmth, pulling the gourmand notes toward a balsamic, woody depth.
A scarf pulled tight against a cold wind, with sticky amber fingers tucked into coat pockets.
