The citrus is bright but it sits next to the leaves and the smoke, so the air feels cool and textured rather than clean. Sage adds a dry herbal edge that keeps the amber from turning soft, while the musk and the animalic accord give the blend a slightly rough surface. It is not polished or refined. The powdery facet sits in the background and the green note keeps the composition from feeling heavy, but the smoke and the wood dominate the impression you get after a few minutes.
