Character
Grapefruit and mandarin orange sit beside black pepper and geranium, bright and a little sharp. Cedar and patchouli give the blend a grounded, earthy texture. Lotus adds a soft, watery edge that keeps the sharper notes from feeling too dry. Haitian vetiver runs through the whole composition with a smoky, rooty depth. Benzoin brings a gentle resinous warmth that smooths the edges of the spices.
The drydown leans heavily into that vetiver and cedar combination, where the wood feels dry and the earthiness becomes more pronounced. Patchouli and benzoin create a heavier, slightly sweet resinous layer that clings to the skin. The initial citrus and pepper fade into the background, leaving the aromatic and woody accords to take full control. It feels like walking through a damp forest where the trees are surrounded by fallen dry leaves and the air still carries the fading memory of a morning breeze.
