Fragrance notes
Character
The door swings shut behind you and the hallway goes quiet. Patchouli hits first, dark and damp, but the rose folds over it quickly, soft and a little powdery, while Siam benzoin smooths the edges with a warm, resinous glow. Musk and Texas cedar step in soon after, the wood dry and upright against the rounded sweetness. Hinoki wood adds a clean, almost steam-like freshness that keeps the heart from turning heavy. Tonka bean and vanilla lean in next, rich and slightly sticky, until Indian oud grounds the blend with a deep, medicinal earthiness. The scent stays near you, wrapping close to the fabric of your coat rather than drifting ahead into the next room. It lingers through the evening without thinning, the vanilla and oud holding their place as the air cools. You stand on a stone balcony where a single lantern throws a circle of gold onto wet wood and a discarded wool scarf.
