Light catches a gardenia bloom on a warm morning, its petals still dewy against the rough texture of a cork coaster. Tuberose rises beside it, creamy and loud, carrying a metallic edge that feels almost electric in the open air. The white floral opening is lush and lactonic, unafraid of its own weight as it fills the immediate space around the wearer.
Saffron threads through the heart, its warm spicy glow meeting amber that deepens the floral brightness without dimming it. The spice does not overpower the flowers. It gives them a golden backdrop, letting the scent hold its shape as the minutes pass. Oud enters slowly from the base, resinous and animalic, supported by benzoin and frankincense that add a dry, sacred weight.
The oud and frankincense anchor the blend so it remains present through a long morning, though it stays close enough that only those nearby catch the full richness of the saffron and tuberose. The gardenia lingers in that intimate radius, its creamy character sustained by the amber and benzoin beneath it. Nothing here rushes to expand beyond the moment it occupies.
The animalic accord is pronounced and may feel heavy to those who prefer clean, transparent florals. The metallic facet of the tuberose can read sharp when the air is still. The lactonic creaminess, while beautiful, does not lighten as the resinous base takes hold, leaving a dense impression that some will find overwhelming rather than comforting.
