Aldehydes and bergamot open the composition with a bright, slightly metallic lift that cuts through the dense resinous character waiting underneath. Raspberry adds a small touch of tart fruit, though it stays in the background and never turns the fragrance into something playful. The top notes feel crisp and deliberate, setting a clean stage before the heavier elements arrive.
The heart gathers Brazilian rosewood, carnation, lily-of-the-valley, jasmine, honey, rose and iris into a thick floral layer that leans warm rather than airy. Honey gives the flowers a golden, slightly sticky weight, while carnation and rose provide a soft spice that keeps the sweetness from feeling light. Iris and lily-of-the-valley try to introduce a cooler edge, but the heart remains centered on warmth and resin.
Base notes of incense, myrrh, moss, sandalwood, cinnamon, benzoin and musk carry the fragrance into a deep, balsamic finish that suits a cold evening walk or a quiet room with the windows closed against the weather. Cinnamon and benzoin push the warmth further, while moss and sandalwood ground the resins so the smoke does not float away entirely. The formula feels dated in its arrangement, with the aldehydic opening and heavy honeyed florals reading more like a relic of the seventies than a modern interpretation of incense.
