Our take

Hope feels thin when first applied. The bergamot arrives bright and clean, but it vanishes almost immediately, leaving very little behind to announce the fragrance. This quick exit of the opening note means the scent does not have a strong introduction. You are left waiting for the heart to appear.

Mimosa soon takes over with a soft yellow floral character that feels powdery and sweet. It sits close to the skin, blending into the white woods and frankincense that form the base. The result is a warm spicy and amber profile that is aromatic rather than bold. It suggests a quiet morning rather than a grand entrance. The materials feel synthetic in places, lacking the natural depth found in more expensive compositions. It is a straightforward scent that does not try to be complex.

The mimosa note itself is pleasant, but it lacks the richness that defines the best floral fragrances. It stays in a narrow range without offering much development. This simplicity means the scent can feel repetitive after a short while. It suits a casual day when you want something light, but it will not satisfy anyone looking for a distinctive or memorable signature. The limited personality is the real drawback here.
