Pigmentarium Brutal opens with a bitter Negroni accord that immediately clashes against dark coffee and orange blossom. The drink is unmistakable, leaning into the herbal bite of gin and the sharp red bitterness of Campari before the florals arrive. Tuberose and ylang-ylang push through the opening with a heavy, creamy weight, while rose adds a soft, powdery layer that keeps the white flowers from feeling entirely suffocating. Théo Belmas composed a scent that feels dense and slightly animalic, moving through a sweet, yellow floral heart that never fully lets go of that initial alcoholic sting. The tobacco and amber in the base anchor the entire structure, giving the blend a resinous, woody foundation that clings to fabric and skin with real persistence.
