Bergamot and red berries sit at the edge of the room, bright and slightly tart, but they do not soften the sharpness right away. You stand near a window where the glass is cool against your palm, watching the street below while the air inside carries that crisp citrus over a faint, green bite of galbanum.
Clove and rose begin to rise as the light shifts across the floor, the flower lending a gentle weight to the spice while a thread of smoke curls upward from a chair nearby. The smoke is not heavy, yet it changes the way the petals read, turning a familiar floral into something more reserved. Vetiver adds a clean, earthy line that keeps the heart from feeling too ornate, letting the green and spicy accords move together without crowding the space you occupy.
Tonka bean and vanilla enter slowly, their sweetness rounded and warm against the tobacco that still lingers near your sleeve. The vanilla does not take over, instead resting beside the vetiver so the base feels grounded rather than sugary. You notice how the air smells different near the curtains than it does close to the wood of the table, the aromatic facets catching the cooler drafts that pass through the room while the warmer notes stay close to the fabric you touch.
