Violet takes the lead in the heart, soft and powdery, with jasmine and rose adding a clean, slightly soapy floral layer. Cloves bring a gentle, dry heat that keeps the flowers from feeling too delicate. Tonka bean and vanilla wrap the blend in a smooth, creamy warmth that leans gourmand without becoming sticky. Amber sits underneath, giving the whole composition a golden, resinous weight that feels rich against the skin.
The powdery facet grows stronger as the fragrance develops, eventually dominating the brighter citrus and green edges. On some wearers, the violet and amber combine into a scent that reads more like vintage face powder than modern perfume. The cloves are present but too quiet to fully balance that old-fashioned dryness. It suits a dimly lit room with heavy curtains and a wool coat, where the air is still and the light is low.
