Jasmin di Giava
Fragrance notes
Character
The opening salvo is a citrus shout, orange and bergamot zesting up the air before a wall of jasmine and passionfruit crashes through, sticky and loud. Jasmin di Giava doesn't whisper. It's a fruit bowl tipped into a flower shop, then drizzled with warm caramel and chocolate from the base. The development is swift: the bright top notes vanish within minutes, leaving a syrupy white floral heart that wears its red berries and peach like cheap candy. The dry down is where this fragrance finds its only saving grace, a dusty patchouli and vanilla blend that softens the excess, though the amber and caramel keep things firmly in dessert territory.
This is the olfactory equivalent of a thrift store chandelier, glittering brass pretending to be crystal. It feels synthetic in the best cheap way, sweet and heavy, mainstream through and through. With a longevity rating of 3.30 and sillage at 3.13, you get a solid four hours of moderate projection and then a skin scent that lingers like a sugar hangover. It suits a teenager or anyone craving a playful, edible cloud for a crisp autumn afternoon or a cozy winter evening. Skip it if you want sophistication, natural floralcy, or something that won't compete with your lunch. Best worn to a coffee date or a lazy walk through a Christmas market, but never to a job interview.
