Kasai
Fragrance notes
Character
Steam rises from a cup of dark tea in a room lit by a single lamp. The air feels thick with cardamom and nutmeg, their warmth curling around the first breath of Kasai. Pink pepper adds a bright, crackling edge to the spice, while a soft rose note floats above the heat like a thin ribbon of silk. Cinnamon and coriander ground the opening, creating a kitchen-like intimacy that feels inviting rather than overwhelming.
Jasmine enters the space with a creamy weight, supported by the rooty softness of orris. A trace of honey glazes the florals, catching the light without making the air feel sticky. Incense drifts through the middle, its gray smoke blurring the lines between the flowers and the spices. The room grows richer as the scent settles, the heat of the cup now matched by the warmth of the fragrance moving through the still air.
Leather appears quietly, smooth and worn, resting against the clean grain of cedar and sandalwood. Benzoin and amber add a resinous depth that feels golden near the lamp, while vanilla rounds the edges of the oud. Orange blossom offers a final flash of white petals before the entire composition settles into a powdery, smoky finish built on amber.
