Forest Patchouli can feel a little thin if you expect a heavy, earthy blanket of soil. The resins here are bright and airy, leaning into the needles rather than the dirt, so the scent stays lifted instead of grounding itself in deep shadow. Siberian pine and balsam fir carry a crisp, sappy edge that mingles with mistletoe and patchouli in a way that keeps the blend more herbal than muddy. Warm spicy and fresh spicy accords add a gentle heat that never overwhelms the green surroundings, while the balsamic touch smooths the sharper corners without turning sweet. It smells like standing in a clearing where the trees have just been touched by a cold wind and the light still cuts through the branches.
