Oud Mira
Fragrance notes
Character
Oud Mira opens with a sharp saffron thread that cuts through bright citrus. The tangerine and bergamot provide a fresh lift, but the spice dominates immediately. Bulgarian rose adds a soft floral layer that prevents the opening from feeling too dry. The initial impression is warm and slightly medicinal, leaning into the exotic nature of the raw materials.
The heart introduces ylang-ylang and cloves, which deepen the spicy character established earlier. Nutmeg and geranium add a green, peppery edge that complements the saffron rather than replacing it. This central phase feels dense and aromatic. The fragrance sits close to the skin in texture, creating a rich atmosphere that suits a dimly lit room and a quiet evening. It feels intentional and heavy, moving away from the initial citrus brightness toward something more resinous.
The base is defined by the dual presence of oud and Laotian oud, supported by patchouli and cypriol. Sandalwood and vetiver ground the composition with an earthy, woody dryness. Amber adds a subtle warmth that binds the darker elements together. The scent finishes as a complex woody profile where the oud remains the focal point. It is a straightforward presentation of resin and timber that stays within the yellow floral and aromatic accords.
