Pear opens soft and a little watery, paired with ambrette for a musky, powdery muskmallow note. Orris and Turkish rose move into the heart, keeping the florals delicate, more pastel than saturated, closer to a rose-scented lotion than a rose garden in full bloom.
Madagascar vanilla and sandalwood settle into the base, sweet and softly woody, giving the fruit and powder something to rest on by the finish. Staying power is the clear weak point here: it fades quickly, thinner than the fruity, powdery opening promises, and what little sillage there is fades almost at the skin's surface, private enough that only the wearer tends to notice once the pear and orris settle into the drydown.
This works best as a light daytime layer for spring and summer, an easy scent that pairs naturally with reapplication rather than resents it. Jérôme Epinette built something soft and pastel here, pear and rose over a sweet vanilla base, suited to someone who treats fragrance as a quick refresh more than a single lasting application, reaching for the bottle again without any real inconvenience.
