Aurum

Aurum opens with a sharp, almost abrasive pop of citrus and rose, a brief moment of brightness before the real show begins. Within minutes, the strawberry and chocolate emerge, not as a playful fruity gourmand but as a dense, syrupy sweetness that glues itself to the skin. Labdanum and vanilla thicken the middle, pushing the composition into a sticky amber haze, and then the oud and incense creep in from the base, dark and resinous, turning the sweetness into something brooding and ritualistic. The dry down settles into a balsamic, powdery warmth with patchouli and oakmoss anchoring the edges, but the chocolate and rose never fully retreat.
