The lime and apple provide a crisp, juicy freshness that cuts through the heavy spices, keeping the introduction from becoming cloying. As it develops, the heart reveals a dusty, powdery iris intertwined with the lush, indolic sweetness of jasmine and rose. This floral mix feels vintage and ornate, bridging the gap between the bright, fruity top and the intense, resinous base. The dry down is incredibly dense, dominated by a rough, animalic leather that feels aggressive rather than smooth. It is incredibly complex, perhaps to a fault, as the fruity top notes struggle to integrate with the sour, animalic base.
