Fragrance notes
Character
Incense rises with the first breath, cool and dry, threaded by the tannin of black tea. The petals arrive fast. Champaca glows with a yellow warmth, while Indian jasmine and tuberose push the air toward a dense, creamy thickness. Lotus sits in the background, adding a faint aquatic shimmer that keeps the florals from collapsing into wax.
Civet gives the center a faintly sour, animal edge that some will find compelling and others will find difficult. Resins and amber wrap the flowers in a balsamic blanket. White sandalwood and vetiver ground the mix with a pale, dusty woodiness. Musk pulls everything close to the skin, blurring the edges until the lines between the notes soften.
The smoke from the opening lingers through the heart and settles into the base. It suits a person walking through wet leaves on a gray afternoon, coat collar turned up, hands in pockets. The flowers feel ceremonial rather than cheerful. This is a study in contrasts, where the dirt of the animal notes meets the polish of the powder. Smoky.
