Damask rose and May rose sit beside tuberose and jasmine, while gardenia and ylang-ylang add cream. Cassis brings a dark berry stain across the petals. Osmanthus and peony soften the weight, and honeysuckle and orange blossom keep the air sweet. Iris adds a powdery, root-like texture that keeps the bouquet from floating away. It smells like a ballroom at midnight where the tables are crowded with open bouquets and the air is warm with vanilla and sandalwood.
