Set
Fragrance notes
Set by Aswan opens with a bright mix of orange blossom, ylang-ylang, mandarin orange, and clary sage. The citrus is immediate and clear, while the ylang-ylang adds a soft yellow floral layer that keeps the start from feeling sharp. Clary sage brings a faint herbal edge that grounds the fruit and flower combination so the opening stays balanced rather than purely sweet.
The heart introduces iris, amber, labdanum, and vetiver. Iris lends a powdery texture that carries through the composition, and amber adds warm resinous depth. Labdanum reinforces that amber tone with a slightly sticky, golden character, while vetiver provides a dry woody contrast that prevents the middle from becoming too heavy or overly smooth.
In the base, tobacco, heliotrope, vanilla, and patchouli take over. Tobacco is rich and slightly dry, heliotrope contributes a gentle powdery sweetness, vanilla rounds the blend with a creamy warmth, and patchouli adds earthy woody weight. The result is powdery, sweet, amber, woody, citrus, vanilla, yellow floral, white floral, tobacco, and iris.
