The citrus is immediate and clear, while the ylang-ylang adds a soft yellow floral layer that keeps the start from feeling sharp. Clary sage brings a faint herbal edge that grounds the fruit and flower combination so the opening stays balanced rather than purely sweet.
The heart introduces iris, amber, labdanum, and vetiver. Iris lends a powdery texture that carries through the composition, and amber adds warm resinous depth. Labdanum reinforces that amber tone with a slightly sticky, golden character, while vetiver provides a dry woody contrast that prevents the middle from becoming too heavy or overly smooth.
In the base, tobacco, heliotrope, vanilla, and patchouli take over.
