Our take

Strawberry and apple lead here, but they do not rush past in a blink. The fruit feels dense and sugared, and the caramel in the heart pulls it further into candy territory. Saffron adds a dry, metallic edge that keeps the sweetness from becoming flat, while jasmine sambac floats above the heavier ingredients with a slightly indolic weight. The opening feels loud on the skin for a good while, then the woods begin to take over.

Oud and cypriol give the base a dark, medicinal bite that sits near the skin rather than pushing outward across a space. Sandalwood and gurjan balsam smooth the sharper corners, so the transition from fruit to resin feels gradual instead of abrupt. The scent stays present through a long day of wear, clinging to fabric and skin with a steady, quiet persistence that does not demand attention from anyone across the room.

This is a heavy, sticky composition that can feel clumsy when the heat rises. The fruit and caramel combination leans juvenile next to the serious woods, and the contrast never quite settles into a single identity. Anyone who dislikes smelling edible should avoid it, but the real limitation is the price. The materials are interesting, yet the cost puts it out of reach for what is ultimately a messy, conflicting blend.
