Hero Eau de Parfum

Hero opens on pine needles and olibanum, a cold, resinous snap that smells like walking into a stand of evergreens after rain. There is no citrus or fruit to soften it, just green wood and frankincense sitting close together from the first minute. Benzoin arrives next, rounding the sharp edges into something warmer and a little sweet, and incense keeps that balsamic, smoky character running through the middle of the fragrance. The whole opening feels deliberately austere, suited to cold air more than warm rooms.

The base is where Hero settles into its real character: three cedars, Atlas, Himalayan and Virginia, layered so the wood feels dry in one moment and pencil-shaving soft in the next. It is an unapologetically woody finish, amber warmth threaded through it, never turning sweet or gourmand. Its endurance sits in the middle, present but never insistent, and it thins gradually instead of vanishing all at once.

Projection stays close-range, a low halo that carries through a handshake before settling back onto the skin. Hero leans hardest into fall and winter, when the resin and cedar feel most at home, and it suits a straightforward, wood-forward taste more than anything overtly sweet or citrus-driven. It stays confident and understated, better suited to cold air and heavy coats than a summer afternoon spent outdoors.
