Água de Sândalo
Fragrance notes
Character
Água de Sândalo does not stay with you for long. The scent remains close to the skin from the first spray, and the woods and spices do not project outward. You will notice it most when you move your wrist to your nose, rather than when you walk through a room.
The opening brings carrot seeds and cardamom alongside violet leaves. The carrot seed gives a dry, earthy edge to the spice, while the violet leaf adds a green touch that fades as the heart develops. Cashmeran and vanilla soften the texture, with vetiver adding a clean, root-like dryness. The vanilla is present but restrained, supporting the woods instead of dominating the blend. Sandalwood and cedar form the base, backed by musk. The sandalwood carries a creamy quality that sits against the sharper cedar, and the musk keeps the finish smooth. The overall feel is powdery and warm, leaning aromatic without becoming sharp. It suits daily wear in cooler weather, though anyone looking for a bold presence will find it too quiet.
The composition stays linear once the initial green note recedes, focusing on the sandalwood and vanilla as the main themes. It is a straightforward woody scent that does what it sets out to do
