May rose, tea rose, and standard rose combine with frangipani and magnolia to create a lush, powdery floral core. Cloves bring a warm, aromatic heat to the middle, while tonka bean starts to introduce a soft, gourmand sweetness that prepares the nose for the heavier base.
The drydown is dominated by Indian oud and standard oud, supported by the smoky, leathery edge of birch tar. Vanilla and tolu balsam smooth out the resinous woods, creating a rich, sticky sweetness that lingers heavily on the skin.
