Character
Cardamom arrives first with a resinous heat that feels deliberate. Vermouth adds a bitter, herbal edge that keeps the opening from smelling like a standard floral. Cypress brings a dry, forest floor quality that makes the entrance feel more structured than sweet.
Damask rose sits at the center, rich and slightly powdered. Lemon brightens the petals without turning the fragrance sharp. Amyris adds a smooth, woody creaminess that bridges the floral heart to the base. Sandalwood and tonka bean create a warm, vanilla-amber finish that feels cozy against a wool coat.
The powdery accord gives the rose a vintage elegance, while the sweet and woody facets keep it grounded in the present. Composed by Grégoire Balleydier, the blend feels like walking through a formal garden just after a cool rain, where the air holds the scent of damp earth and crushed petals, lingering on the collar of a scarf
