Aubade
Fragrance notes
Character
Aubade does not move quickly. The opening holds back, letting the cardamom and Sicilian lemon stay close rather than rushing into the air. This keeps the start contained, though some will find the pace too restrained for daytime wear.
The heart brings almond and Madagascar pepper forward, with caraway adding a dry edge beside jasmine. Toffee and Ceylon cinnamon build the base, anchored by frankincense and musk. The composition stays near the skin as it develops, yet the scent remains present for an extended period once the spices settle.
Composed by Dominique Ropion and Julien Rasquinet, this Navitus Parfums release suits evening settings where a warm, nutty trace matters more than reach. The citrus fades early, leaving a sweet, amber-leaning finish that feels suited to low light and quiet rooms. A jar of spiced toffee left open on a dark wood table.
