Siesta Drive
Fragrance notes
Character
Siesta Drive opens with a bright, layered citrus mix that feels immediate and energetic. Calabrian bergamot, lime, Sicilian lemon, Florida grapefruit, and Italian mandarin combine with ginger and pink pepper to create a sharp, slightly prickly start. The pepper adds a gentle heat that keeps the fruit from leaning too sweet. As the fragrance moves forward, mascarpone cheese and lemon soften the edges, while petitgrain Paraguay, juniper, and African geranium introduce a green, lightly herbal character. The heart feels creamy and fresh at once, with the mascarpone giving the lemon a smooth, dessert-like quality that stays restrained.
The base brings Madagascar vanilla, lemongrass, Haitian vetiver, and frankincense together for a dry, woody finish. Vanilla adds warmth without becoming heavy, and lemongrass keeps a faint citrus thread running through the drydown. Vetiver and frankincense ground the composition with earth and resin, giving it a calm, steady presence. This is a scent that fits a sunny morning walk or a relaxed afternoon outdoors, where fresh air and light suit its clean, aromatic feel. The one limitation is the mascarpone note, which can read as slightly synthetic and may feel odd to those who prefer purely natural-smelling citrus compositions.
