Babieca
Fragrance notes
Character
Babieca opens with a saffron and raspberry pairing that feels sharp and bright. The aldehydes add a clean lift that keeps the fruit from sitting flat. Cade oil brings a dry, smoky edge that cuts through the initial sweetness.
Tobacco and hay sit at the center of the blend. The hay smells dry and sun-baked, leaning into the tobacco rather than softening it. Cypriol adds a dark, mineral earthiness that grounds the heart. Osmanthus offers a soft apricot hint that disappears quickly under the heavier materials.
Leather and caramel form the base, with the leather feeling worn and the caramel thick but not sugary. Civet and oakmoss add a damp, forest-floor depth. Patchouli and vanilla round it out with a warm, dirty sweetness. The scent stays present on the skin for a long time and carries well beyond arm's length.
It fits a cold night walk down a quiet street where the air bites a little. The warmth of the skin meets the chill in the air. A thick wool coat and a lit match.
