The air near the shoreline is cooling as the evening settles in. A slice of blood orange is pressed against a damp violet leaf, the juice bright and the leaf smelling of crushed green stems. The citrus is sharp at first, then it softens into something that feels like it belongs near the water. There is a salty mist in the air that touches the skin, and the fruit sits comfortably inside it.
Cacao pod and tobacco arrive together, dry and textured. The tobacco is not burning, but it carries that familiar, warm scent of dried leaves stored in a wooden box. Champaca adds a floral weight that feels heavy and golden, pulling the composition away from anything light or casual. The cacao is earthy rather than sweet, and it blends into the tobacco without turning the air thick or cloying.
Ambergris and orris form the base, and the room seems to tilt toward the ocean. The ambergris brings a marine animalic note that feels close to skin and salt, while the orris adds a powdery iris root scent that smooths the edges. It is musky and amber-rich, a scent that belongs to someone standing near the tide line with their sleeves rolled up, watching the water shift under a dark sky.
