Character
Cherry liqueur and almond open the scent with a syrupy bite. The almond carries a faint bitter edge that stops the fruit from turning into candy straight away.
Plum and cherry sit at the heart alongside jasmine and rose. The petals add a soft floral lift, but the fruit remains the focus.
The base is generous. Cinnamon and vanilla wrap around benzoin and tonka bean, creating a thick, golden warmth. Sandalwood, cedar, vetiver, and patchouli provide a dry, woody ground so the sweetness never floats without anchor. The drydown feels like walking past a bakery where the air is thick with spice and sugar, yet the woods keep it from becoming a simple dessert scent.
Pandora #18 is rich and cozy, suited to a crisp morning when you want something comforting on your scarf. The one drawback is the composition itself. With so many base notes competing at once, the drydown can feel crowded rather than layered, and the individual woods rarely get a clear moment to speak.
