Lush Cherry
Fragrance notes
Pokoloka Lush Cherry opens with a thick cherry liqueur note that feels syrupy and dark. Bitter almond sits beside it, adding a sharp edge that keeps the fruit from becoming flat. Black cherry deepens the opening with a heavy, almost sticky sweetness.
Jasmine sambac and Turkish rose bring a floral layer that is rich rather than fresh. Plum adds another dark fruit to the heart, while cherry repeats itself here in a softer form. The base is crowded with Peru balsam, sandalwood, tonka bean, patchouli, cinnamon, vanilla, benzoin, vetiver, cedar and cloves. The result is a warm, balsamic, woody mix where vanilla and amber accords dominate.
The scent feels dense and a bit heavy, which suits a late evening occasion or a dim indoor setting. It is clearly feminine and leans into a bold, sweet profile that some will find overwhelming. The composition is so packed with spices and resins that the individual notes sometimes blur together, making it difficult to pick out a single thread.
